Durvesh Patil’s five-wicket haul helps Central Railway Institute Dadar win in MCA Corporate Trophy ’22

On March 17, Central Railway Institute Dadar and J.K. Sports Club clashed against each other during the MCA (Mumbai Cricket Association) Corporate Trophy tournament.  Central Railway Institute Dadar won the toss and elected to bat first.

Riding on Prashant Nair’s 76 and Pranav Gupta’s 45, Central Railway Institute Dadar piled up a respectable score of 7-224 in 40 overs. For J.K. Sports Club, Vishal Nikam and Abhishek Shetigar were the top performers with the ball as they scalped 3-24 and 3-41 respectively.

In reply, J.K. Sports Club could manage to score a paltry 120 as they were bundled out in 25.4 overs, losing the match by 104 runs. None of the batters looked in good touch and made a beeline to the pavilion in quick time, thanks to Central Railway Institute Dadar’s Durvesh Patil. Patil wreaked havoc with the ball as he struck with 5-36. He bowled in the right areas on a consistent basis and yielded rich dividends.

Central Railway Institute Dadar beat J.K. Sports Club comprehensively by 104 runs during the MCA Corporate Trophy.
