Dream XI Dilip Vengsarkar CA won the Sontosh Kumar Ghosh Trophy Organized by Sporting Union Club and Kalyandas Memorial Sports Foundation AJINKYA NAIK, SURAJ SAMAT, SANJAY NAIK, KALYANDAS MEMORIAL SPORTS FOUNDATION. A dominant display with ball as well as the bat, Sports Field CC never stood a chance and had to settle for the 2nd best.

Sports Field elected to bat first in the finals of the Ghosh Trophy with an ambition to score a big first inning total but were dragged back down to reality as the Vengsarkar bowlers didn’t leave a stone unturned and bowled them out for just 109 in 41 overs. Nikish Nerurkar picked up 6 while Anish Tambe claimed the remaining 4. Nerurkar and Tambe ensured Sports Field CC’s innings didn’t last long.
