Deepak’s all-round show helps Dezibel Cricket Club stun FCC with a win in the Skyline Champions League – 2017

Played at the Skyline Cricket Ground at Gurgaon in Haryana, it was a match between the promising Friends Cricket Club and the upcoming Dezibel Cricket Club where in DCC won the toss and elected to bat first in order to post a big total on the board.

Their decision to bat first proved to be correct as they made a competitive score of 172/7 in 20 overs. Even though their top order failed but it was their middle order and especially Deepak who scored a match winning 57 off 42balls (4fours). No.5 batsamn Deepak kept on rotating the strike playing at a healthy strike rate of 135 while also stitched a good partnership with Sunny(at no.5) who also chipped in with a 38 off 22balls(1four). In fact both the batsman did good running between the wickets and kept the scoreboard ticking.

In reply, DCC equally did a good job with the ball too as they restricted Friends Cricket Club to just 96/10 in 18.3 overs. Deepak with 3/9 and one maiden in 4overs was also the leading bowler while he got good support from Brijesh who also took 3/19 in his 4 overs. Dezibel Cricket Club won the match by 76runs and it was certainly Deepak who was the highlight performer of the match.
