Avadhoot (64) & Manish (54) smash match winning half centuries in Thane Premier League’22

Boys CC after being put to bat first at Dadaji Konddev Stadium in Thane posted a total of 168/8 in 20 overs. Opener Avadhoot Dandekar provided a brilliant start with his knock of 64 runs in just 35 balls (8 fours, 3 sixes) despite wickets tumbling from the other end. Manish Rao who came at no.6 played a blinder taking his team in a strong position as he plonked a 23 ball 54 smashing 3 fours and 4 sixes at a strike rate of 234.78! From the bowlers, Yash Chauhan with 2/20 in 4 overs was the pick of the lot.

FTL CC in reply were cleaned up for 61 runs in 14.3 overs with only 2 batters managing to score in double digits. From the bowlers, Vedant Khambe with 3/14 in 2.3 overs was the pick of the lot while Sahil Phegage and Manish Rao bagged 2 wkts each. Manish bagged 2 wkts conceding only 5 runs in 2 overs.
