Ashish Fauzdar scores a 50ball 87 to steer Yes Bank to a win in the finals of the Dreamz Corporate T20 Tournament

The National CC ground witnessed a great finals of the Dreamz t20 tournament between Yes Bank & HUL. HUL won the toss & elected to field first with an aim of restricting Yes Bank to a low total and put them under pressure.

However, Yes Bank did a great job with the bat managing to score 188/6 in 20 overs. Openers Kunal & Ashish gave a solid start which created the positive momentum. Kunal chipped in with 34 while it was their right handed opener Ashish Fauzdar who coverted the good start into a match-winning 87 off just 50balls. A great partnership by openers and Ashish’s counter-attack took the team to a commendable total. Ashish in total smashed 11fours & 4 sixes to enthrall the crowd & his team mates alike. Junaid was the pick of the bowlers taking 4/22 but he lacked support from the other end.

Chasing 189 in a finals game is a pressure situation as HUL got all out for 158/7 in 20 overs. Alok was the pick of the scorer coming down the order scoring a quick 42 off just 26 followed by a 17ball 32 by Dhanush.

Yes Bank won the all important finals and Ashish Fauzdar was declared ‘man of the match’. The tournament was quite a success where there were some great individual performances as well as some interesting matches & Cricketgraph congratulates the winning team & wishes them all the luck for a great year ahead.
