Ashaz Shah is steadily building a strong reputation for himself in the Mumbai cricket circuit with consistent performances across major MCA tournaments. At just 18 years of age, the young cricketer has already showcased his ability to contribute with both bat and ball while representing Income Tax and Parsee Gymkhana.
A left-handed batsman and right-arm fast bowler, Ashaz has impressed with his fearless batting approach and valuable breakthroughs in crucial moments. In the University matches, Ashaz started his campaign in style with an unbeaten 53* runs off just 26 balls, followed by another unbeaten 58* off 35 deliveries in the second match. He continued his aggressive form in the third game as well, scoring a quickfire unbeaten 20* runs in only 11 balls.
The Bhama Cup further highlighted his all-round abilities. In the opening match, Ashaz played a brilliant knock of 87 runs from 64 balls while also making an impact with the ball by registering figures of 2 wickets for 19 runs. He continued his consistency in the second Bhama Cup match with another half-century, scoring 56 runs off 53 deliveries along with bowling figures of 2 wickets for 20 runs. In the third encounter, he added another important contribution of 30 runs from 36 balls.
Ashaz also grabbed attention during the U-19 Selection matches. In the first match, he displayed patience and composure with a solid 63-run innings off 101 balls before following it up with a quick 30 runs from just 24 deliveries in the second game.
