Aryan Shetty scores a crucial 61 at no.9 in 1st LNCC U19 Tournament’21

Shantibhai Seth Memorial Cricket Club after being put to bat first at PJ Hindu Gymkhana were struggling at one stage despite opener Saqib Mulani’s half century with scoreboard reading 106/7 in 26.3 overs. It was a middle order collapse until Aryan Shetty came in at no.9 to play a blinder of an innings scoring 61 runs off 63 balls. Aryan en-route his half century smashed 7 fours and ensured hs team reached a respectable total of 191/10 in 44.4 overs.

P.J Hindu Gymkhana in reply were all out for 132 runs thanks to some tight bowling by Shantibhai Seth bowlers. Nil Sawant with 3/28 was the pick of the lot while Manthan Korgaonkar with 2/16 also bowled well to restrict PJ Hindu Gymkhana under 191 runs on their own ground. Aryan who scored 61 with the bat also chipped in with a wicket as Shantibhai Seth Memorial CC won by 59 runs.
