Aryan Deshmukh shines with unbeaten 52 runs knock

Mumbai: Opening batsman Aryan Deshmukh unbeaten 39-ball 52 runs steered Vihang Enterprise to a thumping 10-wicket win against Peak Performanz in a MCA Corporate Trophy Division ‘F’ match, and played at the Elphinstone CC ground, Azad Maidan.

Choosing to bat first, Peak Performanz batsmen failed to get going and were bowled out for just 88 runs in 19.5 overs, Kunal Gawand was the lone batsman who managed to score 31 runs, while Vihang bowlers Sayyed Hashim 3 for 13, Aryan Deshmukh 2 for 10 and Nilkant Tanpure 2 for 17 shared the wickets. In reply, Vihang Enterprise easily scored 90 runs without losing a wicket and completed the massive win.

In another match, Paramount Cricket Club posted a huge 160-run win against Bhatia Cricket Club. Batting first, Paramount CC amassed a gigantic total of 311 runs for 8 wickets from 45 overs. The leading scorers were middle-order batters Ritesh Palav unbeaten 80 runs (60-balls, 10×4,1×6), Vinod Mishra 67 (7×4,1×6) which swelled their innings. Karan Ved 3 for 57 and Kush Attawala 2 for 47 were the best Bhatia CC bowlers. Later, Bhatia CC were bundled out for 151 runs in 39 overs. Prathamesh Joncha 37 runs fought on gamely, while Lav Palyekar 4 for 27 and Kiran Bobade 2 for 30 claimed the wickets.
