Anjuman Islam wins on the back of Dalvi & Bhanushali in the Mumbai Indians Inter School Tournament’20
Anjuman Islam after being put to bat first at Cross Maidan posted a total of 271/7 in 40 overs. Even though most of the players found it difficult to get going, it was right handed Sujit Dalvi at no.6 playing the rescue act with a solid knock of 90 runs in mere 71 balls (14 fours , 1six). Sujit absorbed the pressure well and came in a time when someone was required to stabilize the innings as he pushed the team total towards a respectable score.
Don Bosco in reply were all out for 65 runs in mere 17 overs thanks to a brilliant spell by off-spinner Mann Bhanushali who came up with bowling figures of 4/22 in 5 overs.
Mann was quite effective in providing breakthroughs while left arm spinner Manas Mukadam also provided some early breakthroughs as Anjuman Islam School went on to win the game by a big margin of 206 runs.
