Aniket (74) and Bharat (53*) help Paramount CC win while Mayuresh’s fifer goes in vain in the Bombay Junior Shield’20

Paramount CC opting to bat first posted a total of 229/6 powered by opener Aniket Khadpe’s brilliant 74 off 99 balls and Bharat Shedekar’s 53* off 37 balls at no.7. From Mohan CC, it was their left arm spinner Mayuresh Kshirsagar coming up with an impressive spell of 5/46 in 9 overs which included some important wickets of Aniket and Suyog who were looking good with the bat.

Mohan CC in reply only had their dependable Ameya Dighe once again coming up with a gritty knock of 74* in 91 balls at no.3. It was a good start for Mohan CC with openers putting on 64 runs followed by Ameya coming at no.3 but the rest of the players failed to give Dighe some support which was required. Left arm spinner Vinayak Joil came up with a nice spell of 4/22 which played a pivotal role in reducing Mohan CC to 198 runs all out in 42.4 overs.
