Akash Parkar, Irfan Umair, & Rudra Dhanday Help CCI Rout Karnatak Sporting Association in the Police Invitation Shield Cricket Tournament
Cricket Club of India (CCI) took on Karnatak Sporting Association in match number 22 (Group C) of the Police Invitation Shield Cricket Tournament. CCI won the toss and elected to field.
Put into bat first, Karnatak Sporting Association were bowled out for 141 in 43.1 overs. CCI’s Akash Parkar and Irfan Umair wreaked havoc with the ball as they scalped four wickets apiece. On the other hand, for Karnatak Sporting Association, Ramanpreet Singh Ghoman top-scored with 31.
In reply, CCI cruised to the target at a canter in just 27.5 overs, winning the match by eight wickets. Rudra Dhanday was at the helm of the run chase, muscling an undefeated 101. Dhanday played some stunning shots in his stroke-filled knock.
