Akash Anand Shines With The Bat In President’s Cup

In the recently concluded inaugural President Cup, Akash Anand displayed his immaculate skills with the bat as he scored 226 runs in just 5 games. With an average of 75 in the T20 competition, Anand helped his team seal the championship . In the first two games, Anand hammered 52* and 55 respectively as he took his team to the Quarter Finals of the tournament.

Despite a subpar outing in the quarters. Akash was determined to do well in the semis. In the semis, the batsman scored 63 off just 37 balls. After that, it was just a cake walk for him in the finals as he scored an unbeaten 49 in just 29. Akash bagged the best batsman ball and CCI cliched the trophy.
