Aditya Tare (105) & Sachin Yadav (74) steer Parsee Gymkhana to a win in Purshottam Shield’22

In the match of Purushottam Shield Tournament between Parsee Gymkhana and Sainath Sports
Club where the latter won the toss and elected to field faced defeat as the winning team Parsee
Gymkhana had scored 340 runs in 70 overs at the loss of 7 wickets. Their 2 players Sachin Yadav
and Aditya Tare contributed with the bat scoring 74 and 105 runs respectively for their team! From the bowlers, Spinner Vinayak Bhoir took 4 wickets giving 96 runs in 21 overs restricting his opponents to a chaseable total.

As the Sainath Sports Club came out to bat, their openers Shikhar H Thakur and Ayush Mhatre were
dismissed for meagre total of 6 and 0 runs. Inspite of the exceptional 100 and 70 scored respectively
by Vinayak Bhoir and Makarand Patil, the team fell short of 30 runs and got all out for 310 runs as the
bowlers of Parsee Gymkhana- Nipun Panchal took 3 wickets in 16.6 overs, while Anjdeep Lad, Yash
Dicholkar and Parag Khanapurkar took 2 wickets each!
