Abhinav Saha’s brilliant all-round performance helps Mulund Gymkhana clinch a win in the Kalyan Premier League’19

Mulund Gymkhana opting to bat first at the SPCA Ground in Kalyan posted an average total of 138/7 in 20 overs. Openers Abhinav Saha (45) and Arnav Thorat (38) gave a 93 run opening stand but the batsman below them failed to capitalize. From SPCA, Harsh Patil (2/4) and Gaurav Rajput (2/39) were the pick of the bowlers.

Defending a modest total of 139, Santosh Sports Cricket Academy were restricted to just 69 runs all out thanks to some really tight bowling by the Mulund Gymkhana bowlers. Nihar Pathak was fabulous with the ball becoming the pick of the bowlers coming up with match winning bowling spell of 4/8 in 4 overs. All-rounder Abhinav Saha who top scored with the bat also chipped in with 2 wkts for mere 5 runs in his 1.1 overs as Mulund Gymkhana won the match by 69 runs.
