A Game Of Performances: MIG and Payyade Go All Out In The Semis Of Police Shield

The semi finals between MIG and Payyade witnessed incredible batting from both the teams where centuries where scored by 5 different batsmen across both teams. MIG were set a target of a mammoth 445 in 70 overs losing 9 wickets. Sarfaraz Khan high scored with 131 runs to his name as Japjeet Randhawa and Shivam Dube slames centuries as well. The former scoring 105 as the latter contributed 103. Apart from the batsmen, spinner Ankush Jaiswal was praised for his stellar spell of 7 for 152 under pressure conditions. 

MIG were set out to chase an impossible target but Varun Lavande and Vishant More assisted the team to an anticlimactic yet unlikely victory for MIG. Lavande hammeres 118 as More scored 116. Both batsmen scored their runs in quick time but it was Om Keshkamat’s crucial 78 at the back end of the innings which provided MIG the required quotient.
