Sagar Chabbria Hammers A Ton But Ajit Yadav’s 98* And Penalty Runs Take Away The Win From CCI
Bhatnagar emerged victorious in their first round against the Cricket Club of India in the Purshottam Shield. CCI’s grand total of 299 seemed enough as Sagar Chhabria hammered a 101 as Sujit Nayak scored half century of his own to help their cause while Monil Soni picked up 3 wickets. Chasing a stiff target, Bhatnagar’s Ajit Yadav made the chase happen by contributing an unbeaten 98 turned the tables around. Fenil Soni scored 76 as he contributed crucial runs. Penalty runs of 20 didn’t help CCI’s defence either as it ultimately cost them the vistory.
