Selection Trials By DMCC For The Corporate Team

DMCC Sports Club of Dharamsi Morarji Chemical Co Ltd is a Founder member office club of MCA. Under their program to Empower Sportsmen open trials were held at Fatima High school indoor facility to recruit young budding players on 9th September 2022.

An overwhelming response of nearly 250 plus aspiring cricketers turned up for the trials. Among those, around 50 players had experienced the A & B Division, the top divisions of Mumbai cricket. The selection was led by a stalwart of Mumbai, Sulakshan Kulkarni. Kulkarni has played and coached numerous First Class teams. With him former Indian Navy Coach Raghuveer Singh Jala and Ex-Captain of Mumbai Women’s Team Ms. Vaishali Bhide Barve were paying close attention to the players. All selectors dedicatedly spent their valuable time and with the help of their experienced conducted a successful selection trials. 

DMCC Sports Club started their second innings by playing in the knockouts in Times Shield and have reached the C division runner up in a span of 6 years.
