Thunderbolts win the Bronze Finals of JFSC 40+ League’22

Thunderbolts after being put to bat first at Fatima Cricket Ground in Mumbai posted a healthy total on board scoring 194/5 in 20 overs. Openers gave a decent start with Chirag. Scoring 50 runs off 48 balls smashing 2 fours and a six. RRahul Keswani who came at no.5 played a DK’esque innings playing the finishers role to perfection smashing 57* off 21 balls, RRahul plonked 5 massive sixes alongwith 4 boundaries in his enterprising knock. From the bowlers, Samir Shah with 2/43 was the pick of the lot while Sujay Lotankar was the most economical of the lot taking 0/30 in 4 overs.

RRoaring Lions in reply could only manage 174/7 with Ketav Shah (42 runs off 37 balls) and Samir Shah (42* off 31 balls) being the top scorers. From the bowlers, Sandeep Valecha bowled a crucial spell returning with impactful bowling figures of 3/30 in 4 overs. Apart from Sandeep, Ashwin and Shakti also bagged 2 wkts each.
