Debutant Musheer Khan scores Massive Double Century for Mumbai in U25 CK Nayadu Trophy’22
In Mumbai’s opening match vs Manipur, Mumbai seems to have taken a strong hold on day 1 after winning the toss and opting to bat first. After losing opener Rudra early, opener Musheer Khan stitched a 167 run stand with Armaan Jaffer who scored 88 runs at no.3. Opener Musheer remains unbeaten on 159* off 274 balls smashing 18 fours and a six and he is batting alongside in form Suved Parkar who is unbeaten on 21* with Mumbai ending Day 1 on 293/3 in 90 overs.
Continuing the innings on Day 2, Musheer went on to score a marathon innings of 267 runs facing 408 deliveries. Musheer smashed 30 fours and 2 sixes while stitched a 306 run stand for the 4th wicket with Suved Parkar who scored an equally impressive 162* off 252 balls smashing 14 fours & 3 sixes taking Mumbai’s Total to 604/6 dec in 150.2 overs. Manipur in reply are 45/3 in 29 overs and Mumbai looks in a commanding position at the end of Day 2.
