Affan Virani smashes an electrifying 58 ball ton in the JFSC Elite T20 League’21

Played at the picturesque Fatima Cricket Ground in Mumbai, Invaders team after opting to bat first posted a massive total of 232/5 in 20 overs. After a sluggish opening start, it was Affan Virani at no.3 who changed the game for his team with a whirlwind knock of 102* in 58 balls. Affan smashed 7 fours and 9 sixes en-route his brilliant unbeaten hundred which came at a strike rate of almost 180! Apart from him , Alim Khan gave a quick cameo of 34* off 15 balls further ensuring their team reaches a commanding position. From the bowlers, Sagar Shah with 3/33 in 4 overs was the pick of the lot.

Chasing 233, Digital Broadcast team could only muster 132/7 in 20 overs. Most of the batters found it difficult to accelerate when it was required. The bowlers did a commendable job especially Ruksar Khan who took 2/6 in 3 overs followed by 2 wickets each for Arshad and Tausif Khan.
