Twin fifties for Sudesh Pednekar and a 6 wkt haul for Harsh Mendon in the Harris Shield Tournament’19
Played at the Elf Oval Maidan between Don Bosco and Parle Tilak School, Don Bosco batting first were all out for a meagre total of 95 runs where in only one batsman stood out in the name of Sudesh Pednekar who scored a fighting knock of 63 runs while the remaining 10 batters could only muster 32 runs between themselves.
Parle Tilak in reply were all out for 113 runs thanks to a superb spell by Harsh Mendon who came up with bowling figures of 6/33 in 16.1 overs. Harsh who now has 18 wkts in 6 games has been spot on this season taking wickets at regular intervals. Don Bosco in the 2nd innings played well scoring 152/5 dec with Sudesh Pednekar again being the highest scorer with 55 runs.
Chasing 134, Parle Tilak were 9/2 at the end of the game’s play where the match could not obtain any result ending in a draw (Win on 1st innings for Parle Tilak)
