Vinit Dhulap’s 5/26 alongwith fifties by Kevin (50) and Swapnil Pradhan(53*) steer MIG to a win in the “A” Div Kanga League’19
Parel Sporting Club after being put to bat first were bundled out for 118 runs all out in 46 overs thanks to a brilliant spell by the experienced Vinit Dhulap. Parel SC which boasts of a prolific batting line up which includes many young Mumbai and India players struggled against the spin of Vinit (5/26 in 16 overs) as he ran through the young blokes alongwith fast bowler Nikhil Date who took 3/16 in 9 overs.
MIG in reply easily crossed the 1st innings trail winning the match on 1st innings. MIG declared their innings on 129/5 in 34 overs with Kevin Almeida (50 off 68) and the solid Swapnil Pradhan at no.3 (53* off 72) smashing half centuries.
It was a dominating performance by the MIG team where the experience ruled over the rising youngsters of the Parel Team.
