Opener Pranjal Gurav fells 5 short of a deserving ton in the MCA U23 Women’s Summer Camp Tournament’19

Goregaon Center opting to bat first at Shivaji Park could have been all out for under 120-130 odd runs had it not been their solid opener Pranjal Gurav coming to the fore. Opening the innings Pranjal went on to score a match winning knock of 95 runs in 97 balls laced with 9 boundaries while she got excellent support from Somya (42) with whom she stitched 154 run stand for the 2^nd wicket pushing Goregaon Center to 236/6 in 36 overs.

Dombivali Center in reply were bundled out for 92 runs 36.2 overs as Goregaon Center bowlers proved to be too difficult to cope with. Amruta Parab (3/11) and Anikat (3/15) were the pick of the bowlers while Prerna More was also impressive with 2/6 in 5 overs and 3 maidens as Goregaon Center went on to win the match by 144 runs.
