When one hears the outcome of a match which ends without a thrill, the general assumption is it to be a non exciting match. But as a player and team its soothing especially for the winning team, for behind the easy result is a disciplined and dedicated effort to make it easy. Sports Gurukul captain guessed it correctly at the spin of the coin against Tata AIG in the Dreamz and Trophy T20 quarter final match at John Bright Pitch at Azad Maidan but comes Satya into the act and to justify the decision of Sports Gurukul to Put Tata AIG in to bat first. His rich haul of 5 wickets was proof enough of the same as Tata AIG could not cross the three figure mark. Except for Nitin’s valiant 30 of 39 runs none of the other Tata AIG batsman had any answer to Satya’s excellent spell of bowling. 5 wickets in a T20 format of the game is as good as a 10 wicket haul in a Test match. Tata AIG were bundled out at 93 in 17.3 overs.

Some chasing small targets could be dicey but Sports Gurukul batsman ensured no such thing as they crossed the line with 7 wickets to spare in 15.1 over with a brisk 50 off 53 balls from Prasad. Satya had his say too with 12 off 14 balls.
Sports Gurukul did not have to use their entire armoury but had a good outing for their next semi final clash. Its these kind of performances that lifts the spirit of the overall team. Could be a bigger battle awaits Sports Gurukul in the semi finals but for the quarter finals three cheers for them.
