Thumping wins for Dilip Vengsarkar CA & Achievers CA

Mumbai: Dilip Vengsarkar Cricket Academy (Oval) and Achievers Cricket Academy registered thumping wins over their respective opponents on the fifth day of the under-11 T-21 cricket tournament organized by Sanjeevani Cricket Academy (SCA) at the Saffire ground in Bhakti Park, Wadala. Dilip Vengsarkar CA secured a massive 106-run win over Navroj Cricket Club, while Achievers CA defeated Titan CA by a huge margin of 140 runs.

A determined Dilip Vengsarkar CA team scored 146/3 as Jay Tolia (48* off 66) and Aayush Shirke (41 off 39) put together a solid foundation for the team. In reply, Navroj CC were bowled out for a paltry score of 40 in 17.4 overs as Harsh Gaikar (4/2) and Krishna Datia (3/8) bowled economical and match-winning spells for their team.

In the other match of the day, in-form batsmen Agneya Aadi (75 off 53) and Soham Sali (43 off 38) once again struck fine knocks as Achievers CA put up a huge score of 198/7. Titan CA faltered in the chase and were bundled out for 58 in 16 overs as Arya Gaikwad (3/7) and Ayush Shinde (2/16) shared five wickets amongst them to take their side to a big and one-sided victory.
