Young Spinner Prithvi Salian impresses one and all with a brilliant 7/20 in the Jolly Cup ‘17

13yr old Prithvi Salian has been a talented prodigy right from his early days. His bowling action, his line and length and consistency at which he bowls has always impressed even the critics and he proves it in a recent match where he came up with simply amazing bowling spell which helped steer his team to a big win.

Played at the Jolly Gymkhana Ground in Mumbai between Fatima High School and RN Gandhi School where in Fatima school won the toss and elected to bat first since they have a good batting line up. Batting first, Fatima Boys made a good total of 249 in 35 overs as their star opener Sandeep Palav top scored with an aggressive 55 while the rest of the batsman also gave crucial contributions. Defending a total of 250 in 35 overs, right arm leg spinner Prithvi Salian single handedly demolished the opposition’s batting line up as he came with astounding bowling figures of 7/17 in 5.3 overs which helped his team win the match by 200runs.

RN Gandhi school were all out for just 50runs while chasing and it was surely a match dominated by Fatima boys and especially prithvi who stood out with his exquisite bowling.
