Swapnil Salvi winner of cricketer with Attiitude award
Just started two years back, Attiitude is an international apparel brand, based out of London, United Kingdom with another office in Bengaluru, India. The brand is for all those who are not afraid to wear their rebellious streak on sleeve. Attiitude could have not found a better brand ambassador than Chris Gayle, who is one of the most destructive batsmen in international cricket, to be the face of the brand. In collaboration with Cricketgraph.com, Attiitude has launched weekly awards for the best batsman, best bowler, and best fielder. Adding to this, Attiitude will acknowledge the best performance (in batting, bowling, and fielding) for the quarter. The awardees will receive attractive gifts from Attiitude which includes their top-quality merchandise.
Swapnil Salvi is the first recipient of the Attiitude award. Playing for MIG Cricket Club, the aggressive middle order batsman essayed a craft knock of 95 coming off 116 balls helping his team to reach a commanding position. The 28-year old played a rather unusual knock that comprised of just two boundaries but seven huge sixes. The Shivaji Park Gymkhana bowlers were smacked all around the park at MIG and were found helpless, thanks to some wonderful batting showcased by Swapnil.
Mangesh Vaity of Koli Combined XI (106* off 122 balls) and Yash Nahar of Sind Sports Club (87* off 51 balls) were the other two contenders competing against Swapnil Salvi for the Attiitude best performance award.
Attiitude will be back next week with a new winner, till then Cricketgraph and Attiitude signs off.
