Yogi CC win the D Div of Kanga League with 22 Points as Amar Kulkarni (57) and Spinners come to the fore
Yogi CC after being made to bat first at Oval Maidan notched up 206 runs on the board with their opener Amar Kulkarni top scoring for his team with a fluent 57 off 75 balls (8 fours). Left-arm spinner Rajas Raut was the pick of the bowlers with bowling figures of 5/75 in 22.3 overs.
New Amrit CC in reply were all out for 73 runs with spinners Rahul Sawant(SLA) and Saurabh Singh(LB) taking 4 wkts each. Yogi CC batted for 2overs in their 2nd innings before the game ended with them winning the match on 1st innings lead.
With this win, they also became the table toppers with 22 points winning the D Division of Kanga league and getting promoted to the C Division.
