Yogesh Shinde’s solid 60 & Shashank’s all-round show ensures a win for Datamatics in the Chanawala Challengers T40 Tournament’19

Datamatics Global team opting to bat first at the Azad Maidan Ground mustered a decent total on board scoring 210/10 in 38.1 overs. Openers Yogesh Shinde and Aditya Biswas (28) gave a good start of 66 runs for the 1^st wicket while Yogesh top scored for his team with an anchoring knock of 60 runs in 66 balls laced with 9 boundaries. Apart from him Rasik Naik (47) and Shashank Jadhav (43) at the middle order gave crucial contributions. From the bowlers, Dhananjay Keni with 3/29 was the pick of the bowlers.

Express Marketing chasing 219 were cleaned up for 129 runs all out in 23.2 overs. Saiel Surve bowled a important spell of 3/38 in 7 overs while Ritesh Palav and Shashank Jadhav bagged 2 wkts each in what turned out to be a collectively tight bowling performance.

Result-Datamatics won the match by 89 runs while Shashank Jadhav was declared ‘man of the match’
