Vedant Gore’s 245-run blitzkrieg & 6-fer demolishes Cricket Mantra Jr in MD Memorial Cup

Vedant Gore packed a punch with a stellar 245 off 115 against Cricket Mantra Jr during the MD Memorial Cup U14 Cricket Tournament in Mumbai. Gore, the captain of Abhay Cricket Club, led from the front and steered his side to a massive 280-run win.

Batting first, Abhay Cricket Club piled up a mammoth 363/5 in 36 overs. Vedant Gore dazzled with the bat with a scintillating double century. He struck 34 boundaries and 12 sixes, batting at number three. On the other hand, Raivath Yadav and captain Arjun Kadam were the most successful bowlers for Cricket Mantra Jr with two wickets apiece.

In reply, Cricket Mantra Jr were bundled out cheaply for 83 in 21.1 overs. Shlojk Deshmukh top-scored with 19 off 28, including a couple of boundaries for Cricket Mantra Jr. With the ball, it was again Vedant Gore who wreaked havoc, picking up 34/6 in eight overs. Gore bowled a couple of maiden overs too.
Vedant Gore won the player of the match award for his brilliant all-round performance.
