Vartak Slams Double Ton As National Win By A Record 378 Runs
Ayush Vartak took everyone by storm as he hammered an unbeatne 215* off mere 110 balls in the Mangrol CC U-19 tournament for National CC. Batting first, National CC scored a mammoth 480 in just 33 overs. However, the total was aided with 114 penalty runs for 3 overs. Roneet Thakur (41 off 35) and Aditya Rawat (43 off 16) were blasting the bowlers as well apart from Ayush. Aashay Shukla hammered a 37-ball 53 as he finished off the innings with Vartak. Ayush faced 110 balls and dispatched 17 of them for fours and a record 16 of them for sixes. His innings killed the competition by the end of the first innings.

National CC made light work of the Mangrol batsman by bowling them out for just 102. The openers put up a 72 run stand but it wasn’t enough as the bowlers piled up on the batsmen. Vednat Patil and Aadesh Rane spun a web picking 9 wickets among them. Patil claimed a 5 wicket haul in 7 overs as Rane made quick work by picking 4 wickets in just 4 overs. Ultimately National emerged victorious with 378 runs in hand.
It was an ultimate victory by National CC as Ayush Vartak continues to score consistently.
