Unreal stuff! Prithvi Shaw smashes a brilliant 227* in Vijay Hazare Trophy for Mumbai
Just a few days back, Prithvi Shaw scored a handsome 105 vs Delhi and now he raises the bar with a scintillating double ton. Shaw entered the elite list of players to have scored a double century in Vijay Hazare Trophy. The youngster who is working hard on his comeback has proved one and all about how serious he is taking his game. Mumbai team scored a mammoth 457/4 vs Puducherry in the Elite D Group game.
Opening the innings for Mumbai, the youngster smashed 32 fours and 4 sixes en-route his unbeaten 227* off 152 balls. With this innings he also surpassed Samju Samson’s score of 212 to become the highest individual scorer in the history of Vijay Hazare Trophy. This was shaw’s maiden list A double ton and with this he became the 8th Indian to do so. Apart from him, Suryakumar Yadav also scored 133 off just 58 balls making the case stronger for himself for Indian call up!
