The “Ansari Jodi” Azhar (102*) & Mohdnabijaan (63*) powers Maskati CC to a win in the C Div Times Shield’19

Maskati CC after being put to bat first at Worli SC were in deep trouble at one stage with 4 wkts down for just 22 runs. However it was the “Ansari Jodi” which saved the day for Maskati Cricket Club. Azhar Ansari coming at no.5 went on to score a brilliant 102* off 119 balls (13 fours, 2 sixes) while Mohdnabijan Ansari coming at no.6 scored a solid 63* off 113 balls (4 fours) as both the Ansari duo stitched an unbeaten 168* run stand for the 5^th wicket which is by far the highest 5^th wicket partnership across all divisions in Kanga this year. Maskati CC from 22/4 declared their inning at 190/4 in 45 overs.

Rajasthan SC in reply were all out for 100 runs thanks to some tight bowling by the Maskati bowlers. Maskati CC used only 4 bowlers out of which Ganesh Alwe with 4/16 was the pick of the lot as Maskati CC went on to win the game on 1^st innings lead.
