Talanted Vedant Gadia stuns the cricketing community with a 143 and a 7wkt haul in the same match in the Khichadiya Khar Tournament ‘18
Played at the Shivaji Park Gymkhana between Rustomjee International School and Vibgyor High School, Vibgyor won the toss and elected to bat first with an aim of making a big 1st innings total to put the opposition under pressure.
Vibgyor did the right thing batting first as they notched up 273runs on the board. Even though most of the players struggled to convert their 10’s and 20’s, it was their prolific opener Vedanta Gadia who impressed one and all with his rock solid yet aggressive batting smashing 142 off 91balls. Vedanta kept on playing his natural game effortlessly despite the wickets from the other end were falling. Smashing 19furs, Vedanta played at a strike rate of more than 150 counter-attacking the bowlers with his flawless batting.
Defending a total of 274 runs, Vedanta mesmerized the spectators and the opposition with the ball too as he came up with a match winning bowling spell of 7/54 in 13overs (2maidens). Vedanta who already stamped his authority as an opener made sure he covered the bowling department too with his terrific left arm spin. Jyotish Chugnani with 2wkts and 26runs also contributed well in the game as Rustomjee School were all out for 117 runs. Vibgyor won the match by 156runs and Vedanta surely stood out in the match.
There was a selection Trial tournament held recently by MCA and they got to play 3 matches. Vedanta scored 259 runs in 3 matches /4 innings too.

Even in October he scored a double hundred in the Under 14 CPCC Tournament.
