Suyash Ghegade steers Datamatics Global Services to the semi-finals of ‘E’ Division Times Shield’22
On May 13, Datamatics Global Services took on Deutsche Bank in Mumbai during the quarter final of ‘E’ Division Times Shield. Datamatics Global Services won the toss and elected to bat.
Batting first, Datamatics Global Services posted a modest score of 9-117 in 20 overs. Akash Palande top scored with 25 runs off 28 balls. Saurabh Khaire (24) and Rohidas Koyande (22) also made useful contributions with the bat lower down the order. For Deutsche Bank, Sameer Desai was the pick of the bowlers as he scalped 3-11 in four overs.
In response, Deutsche Bank failed to chase down the target as they were bowled out for a paltry 89 in 17.1 overs. Nishant Kamble (23) and Vineet Angne (20) fought hard but failed to see their side home. On the other hand, Datamatics Global Services’ Suyash Ghegade was the wrecker-in-chief as he claimed 3-15 in four overs. Ghegade was the most successful bowler as he derailed the opposition’s run chase.
Datamatics Global Services pipped Deutsche Bank by 28 runs to advance to the semi-finals of ‘E’ Division Times Shield.
