Sulakshana and Sunetra leads Mumbai woman to an emphatic victory over Haryana

Mumbai Woman showed great maturity in the all important quarterfinal game against Haryana.

Team Haryana posted a decent 109 for the loss of 6 wickets in their 20 overs batting first. Joshi scored a brilliant 51 while Khatri remained unbeaten on 31. For Mumbai, Fatima was the pick of the bowler picking up 3 wickets for just 7 runs in her 4 overs.

Mumbai’s chase was anchored around the 2 S, Mumbai captain Sunetra (41)  and wicketkeeper batsman Sulakshana (47). They showed tremendous maturity while chasing the target and ensured Mumbai win with 5 wickets and 3 balls to spare.

Mumbai will be playing Himachal in the semifinal on Wednesday, 13th January.
