Star Cricket Club takes the first innings lead against MB Union Cricket Club in D division Kanga match
It was quite a one sided affair on 11th September when Star Cricket Club locked horns against MB Union Cricket Club during the D division Kanga League match in Mumbai. Winning the toss and electing to field first, MB Union Cricket Club bundled out Star Cricket Club at a miserly 80. Vishal Kavaiyya shined with the ball picking up 3-21 in his economical spell.
The second innings was a batting disaster as MB Union Cricket Club collapsed like a pack of cards. They were done and dusted for a meagre 30, thanks to some brilliant bowling efforts of Star Cricket Club. Manas Raikar was exceptional with the ball, finishing off with envious figures of 5-11. Varun Joijode joined the party grabbing 4-11.
Though the match did not have a outright winner, Star Cricket Club took the first innings lead.
