SS Travels defeat Kapil Cricket Club to enter the semi-final of Milan Mega Corporate T20 Tournament
Winning the toss and electing to bat first, SS Travels posted a respectable 154-8 in 20 overs against Kapil Cricket Club on 14th May at Cross Maidan, Mumbai in the quarter-final of Milan Mega Corporate T20 Tournament. Vaibhav Supe (57 runs off 47 balls) scored a brilliant half century and played a pivotal role in helping his team to put up a challenging score on board. Supe played some good looking cricketing shots and was a delight to watch. Karan shined with the ball picking up 3-21 in his four overs.
In reply, Kapil Cricket Club was bundled out for 103 in 17.5 overs, losing the match by 51 runs. Opening bat Ankit top scored with 28 runs off 30 balls and was the lone fighter for his team. It was a good team effort by the bowlers of SS Travels, with Shekhar and Vaibhav picking up two wickets each. Vaibhav, who had earlier made his mark with the bat, rolled his arm over to grab 2-10 in his two overs.
Vaibhav Supe (57 runs off 47 balls and 2-10 in 2 overs) was declared as the Man of the Match prize for his fantastic all-round performance.
