Played at the Bharat CC, Shivaji Park (Dadar), it was a low scoring E Div match between Bohra Cricketers & Dahisar SC where in Dahisar SC won the toss and elected to field first on a bowler friendly wicket,
Batting first, Bohra Cricketers were all-out for a low score of 93/10 in as many as 51.5 overs. The bowlers did an excellent job as Bohra batsman played 51.5 overs at a run rate below 2. Slow left arm spinner Paras Shah bowled with excellent line and length troubling the batsman with his effective spin. Paras came up with envious bowling figures of 5/22 in 20 overs(5 maidens). Paras is amongst the very few bowlers this season (minimum 10 overs) to bowl at an impressive economy rate of just above 1.
In reply, Bohra Cricketers gave a fitting reply with the ball as they made the Dahisar Batsman struggle. Just one wicket away from a loss, Dahisar survived till the last over with just 1wkt left at 57/9 in 29overs. Fast bowlers Umair and Nimish took 3 wkts each before the match ended in a draw. However, it was spinner Paras’s bowling who took everyone’s notice. Cricketgraph congratulates Paras while wishes luck to both the teams for their future matches.
