Siddhesh Jadhav Steals the Spotlight with Back-to-Back Match-Winning Performances in President cup

At Parsee Gymkhana in Azad Maidan, the President Cup for Kanga Knockout teams delivered a strong statement from Canara Vijay Cricket Club, driven by one name that kept coming up again and again Siddhesh Jadhav.

In their first clash against Young Social Cricket Club, the opposition posted 123/8 in 20 overs after being put in to bat. Mann Bhanushali stood out with the ball, picking up 3 wickets in his 3 overs to keep things tight.
But the chase quickly turned into a one-sided affair.

Siddhesh Jadhav took control of the innings with a fluent 51 off just 30 balls, laced with 8 boundaries and a six. He set the tone early, making sure there was no pressure on the batting unit. Alongside him, Rajkumar Pal anchored the innings with a composed 50 off 39 balls. The duo ensured Canara Vijay Cricket Club, cruised to victory in just 14 overs, sealing the match by 8 wickets.

If that performance set the tone, the next match confirmed it wasn’t a one-off.

Facing Sporting Union Club, Canara Vijay Cricket Club once again delivered with the bat, posting a commanding 180/6. And once again, Siddhesh Jadhav led from the front, scoring a solid 55 off 41 balls. He was well supported by Shivam Varma, who added a brisk 57 off 37 balls, building a total that always looked out of reach.

The bowlers then took over.

Sporting Union Club never found momentum in the chase and were bundled out for just 78. Rahul Singh and Ashwinee Gupta did the bulk of the damage with 3 wickets each, while Siddhesh Jadhav chipped in with a wicket to cap off an all-round performance.

Two matches. Two impactful innings.

A crucial wicket. Siddhesh Jadhav didn’t just perform he controlled games, dictated tempo, and ensured his team stayed ahead in every phase. Back-to-back performances like these don’t just win matches, they build campaigns.
