Shruti Kundalkar and Ishita Bhosle put impressive performances in the U13 Kalyan Premier League ‘19 (Girls)
Sri Ma Vidyalaya after opting to bat first batted really well posting a big total of 214/2 in 20 overs. Openers Mehak (27 off 15b) and Shruti gave a 67 run stand in the first 6 overs with Shruti top scoring with a solid 47 off 40 balls (5 fours, 1 six). Ishita Bhosle and Chavi Singh took the game further with their unbeaten partnership of 89 runs in the last 7 overs. Ishita remained not out on 46* off 41 balls (7 fours) while Chavi scored a quickfire 36* in just 18 balls (2 fours, 3 sixes)
Yuva Multi Sports A suffered a batting collapse while chasing at more than 10 runs per over with their scoreboard reading 28/7 at one stage. Eventually they were all out for 65 runs with as many as 7 bowlers from Sri Ma Vidyalaya chipping in with wickets. Pradnya Bhagat (2/8 in 3 overs), Niteel Negi (1/7 in 3 overs) and Ishita Bhosle( 1/ in 2 overs) were impressive with the ball. Preeti Iyer took wicket on her very 1st ball ending YMSA’s chase.
Sri Ma Vidyalaya won the match by 145 runs while Shruti Kundalkar was declared ‘man of the match’
