SHM Dominate With The Bat And Ball As The Win By 141 Runs in Friendship Trophy

SHM dominated against the Forestian Cricket Club in the Friendship Trophy 2023. SHM hammered 227 in 20 overs for the loss of just 4 wickets. After losing a couple of wickets early, Manish Nagdev and Ravi Vishwakarma formed an immaculate partnership of 99 runs for the third wicket. Nagdev faced 29 balls scoring 51 as Ravi hammered 56 off just 26 balls. Their partnership formed the base for the carnage which was to come. Hemant Chellani chipped in 34* off just 23 balls but the power punch was provided by Sagar Matani who scored 50 at an incredible strike rate of 208, 36 off his 50 runs coming in boundaries.

Despite the high score, Shiv Shankar managed to pick 3 wickets in his 4 over spell although with an economy rate of over 10 runs per over.

After a dominant display with the bat, SHM dominated with the ball as well by restricting Forestian to just 86. No batsmen could pass the 20-run mark. Kishore Khubchandani’s opening spell of 2/14 in 4 overs was a strong start along with Hitesh Lalchandani’s captivating spell of 3/16. Apart from them, Mukesh Sachdev claimed 2 wickets in a deceitful spell of 2/10 in 4 overs. By the of the 20th over, Forestian had lost 9 wickets and lost the game by 141 runs.

Hitesh Lalchandani was named as the Man of the Match for his supreme spell.
