Saurav Nautiyal scores a solid 91 and takes a wkt against Cricket Kings in the Delhi Cricket League
Held at Rajput Gymkhana Cricket Ground in Delhi, two promising teams clashed against each other where in Sultan Sports Club batted first and did a fairly good job with the bat. Cricket Kings could have bowled a little tighter to restrict them around 300.
Batting first, Sultan Sports Club made 320/10 in 42.2 overs and left-handed Saurav Nautiyal once again showed his class with the bat as he scored a 90ball 91 to steer his team to a respectable total. Saurav looked confident for his stay at the crease wherein he smashed 10 fours & 4big sixes to keep the scoreboard ticking. It was a knock which was a perfect mixture of aggression and patience. Anil (6wkts) & Ubed(4wkts) from Cricket Kings bowled really well bowling in the right areas and taking maximum together.
Chasing 321, Sultan Sports Club bowled really well too as they restricted Cricket Kings to 314/10 in 49.1 overs and won the match by 6runs. Medium pacer Shankar (5/44) was the chief destroyer picking up 5wkts (which included 1 run-out) followed by 3/35 by Vipul. Saurav & Krish also chipped in with a wicket each to make it a complete team perfomance.
Sultan Sports Club won the match & Saurav Nautiyal was declared ‘man of the match’ while it was also a collectively good bowling perfomance too which helped them clinch a victory. Cricketgraph wishes Saurav and the whole team all the luck for a great year ahead.
