Sanchit Sawantakar’s 58 Guides Sainath Cricket Academy to a win in Mira Bhayandar Challenger League’22
On May 2, Sainath Cricket Academy handed a crushing 111-run defeat to BCA Rangers during the Mira Bhayandar Challenger League (MBCL). BCA Rangers won the toss and elected to field at the Bravo Cricket Academy.
Riding on Sanchit Sawantakar’s delectable half-century, Sainath Cricket Academy put together 6-170 in 20 overs. The opening batter mustered 58 runs off 59 balls, including eight boundaries. Sumesh Jadhav was the other major contributor with the bat as he muscled a 34-ball 45. On the other hand, Yuvraj Singh and Akshar Darji were the most successful bowlers for BCA Rangers. The duo struck with two wickets apiece.
In reply, BCA Rangers were bundled out for a paltry score of 59 in 13.3 overs. None of the batters scored in double digits for BCA Rangers. Captain Pratik Suvarna top scored with 8 runs off 18 balls. On the other hand, Sainath Cricket Academy’s Veer Shinde was the wrecker-in-chief as he scalped 3-4 in two overs.
Sanchit Sawantakar was the top performer in the match. Sawantkar’s half-century steered Sainath Cricket Academy to a 111-run win over BCA Rangers during the Mira Bhayandar Challenger League (MBCL).
