sagar Mishra’s fifer helps Payyade win in Purshottam Shield’22

In a recent contest played between Payyade Sports Club and Goregaon Sports Club at the GSC Ground in the ongoing Purushottam Shield Tournament. The home team won the toss and elected to bat first, they had to face two competent bowlers- Sagar Mishra and Deepak Shetty who took 5 and 3 wickets respectively which restricted their Goregaon Sports Club to only 95 runs in 28.5 overs.

Payyade Sports Club in reply crossed the victory line in the 23rd over winning the match by 7 wkts. Sagar Mishra, a skilled left arm bowler took 5 wickets in 10.5 overs giving a minimal of 26 runs in which he missed his chance of a hat trick! He was equally good with the Bat wherein he scored 25 runs and helped his team to gain victory over the Goregaon Sports Club!
