In the 8th Addition of the Friendship Trophy, Shiv Shakti Cricket Club took on Forestian Cricket Club as the latter prevailed in an enticing game of cricket. Shiv Shakti posed 130 in 20 overs losing 9 wickets in the process. Sanjay Gounder high-scored with 40 runs to his name off just 31 balls. Despite no bowling star, a cumulative bowling effort saw Forestian CC restrict their opponents. Rupesh claimed 2 wickets in an over.

As Forestian began their runchase, Vipul started off the innings in a secure manner by contributing 31 off 35. Besides him, number 3 batsmen Pankaj Roy scored run-a-ball 35 as they edged closer to the target. But despite the low-score, Forestian lost timely wickets as Shiv Shakti made sure they were always in the game. Ultimately, they chased down the target with just 3 balls left and 5 wickets in hand. Pankaj stayed unbeaten to see his team to victory.
