Romil Diamond Royals, Sunder Warriors, Aashni Legends, and AH Cobras register wins in TPL 5
The fifth edition of Tyrant Premier League (TPL) saw four exciting matches on October 10 at the Catholic Gymkhana Turf in Mumbai. All the games were 13-overs per side in the TPL.
Romil Diamond Royals beat AH Cobras by 2 runs
Romil Diamond Royals snatched victory from the jaws of defeat as they beat AH Cobras by just two runs. Batting first, Romil Diamond Royals were restricted to 80/9 in 13 overs. Jash Shiroiya top-scored with a26-ball 28, while for AH Cobras, Dhruvesh Jhaveri chipped in with 10/2 in two overs. In reply, AH Cobras were reduced to 78/9, with Shreyas registering a 14-ball 23. Snehal and Romil Raja were the most successful bowlers for Romil Diamond Royals, claiming two scalps apiece.
Sunder Warriors pip Aashni Legends by 32 runs
Sunder Warriors bundled out Aashni Legends for a paltry 37 after posting 69/9 in 13 overs. Abhishek Shah starred with the bat for Sunder Warriors scoring 13 off 12. For Aashni Legends, Vatsal Shah wreaked havoc with the ball picking up 5/3 in two overs. With the bat, Parth Deep was the lone warrior in the fight mustering seven runs off eight balls. On the other hand, for Sunder Warriors, Raghav had a good outing with the ball, accounting for 4/3 in one over.
Aashni Legends defeat Romil Diamond Royals by 12 runs
Batting first, Aashni Legends put together 66/7 in 13 overs, thanks to Rishi Tater, who mustered an unbeaten 18 off 21. On the other hand, for Romil Diamond Royals, Jash Shiroiya accounted for 13/3 in three overs. In response, Romil Diamond Royals’ Rickin Shah anchored the run chase with 14 off 17; however, his side fell short of 12 runs in the end as they were restricted to 54/8 in 13 overs. For Aashni Legends, Roshan Sanghvi was the pick of the bowlers as he struck with 2/2 in two overs.
AH Cobras trounce Sunder Warriors by 8 wickets
AH Cobras registered a comprehensive win over Sunder Warriors as they overhauled the target of 87 in 12.4 overs. Batting first, Sunder Warriors scored 86/5 in 13 overs, with captain Manan Shah and Daxesh muscling 23 runs each. Hussain Bootwala was the most successful bowler for AH Cobras as he picked up 2/2 in two overs. Bootwala contributed with the bat, as he smashed 35 off 25, leading the run chase from the front. On the other hand, Nipun Kothari and Raghav were the wicket-takers for Sunder Warriors, accounting for one wicket each.
