In the Friendship Trophy 2023, Indiafirst Life convincingly won against FCC Mavericks by 86 runs. Indiafirst Life hammered 218 in 20 overs. Opener Vaibhav Sethi scored 42 off 35 to set the tone. Wicketkeeper Anil Ronanki smashed a 45-ball 75 through the middle stages of the game with 8 fours and 3 sixes. After him, Amit Singh Rathore finished off the innings with and unbeaten 79 off just 28 balls, With a strike rate of 282, Rathore hit 9 fours and 5 sixes. Despite the high score, Devendra Rane managed to bowl an impressive spell of 1/23 in 4 overs, claiming 1 of the 3 wickets.

Mavericks had a dismal start, losing a wicket in the first over itself but the misery didn’t end there as they were bowled out for just 132. NIkhil P scored 34 down the order but his effort came at the fag end of the innings. Dharmendra Gupta and Seshagiri Rao claimed 3 wickets each as Aman SHah’s 4/21 dismantled the Mavericks line up.
