Ramanpreet Singh powers Teleperformance Global Services to a win in Times Shield’22
Teleperformance Global Services took on Mafatlal Cricket Club during the ‘B’ Division Times Shield match. The game was played at the Western Railway cricket ground in Mumbai on April 26 and 27. Mafatlal Cricket Club won the toss and elected to bat first.
Riding on twin half-centuries from Akhil Rajput and Karansinh Nandey, Mafatlal Cricket Club piled up 275 runs in 54.4 overs. Rajput, who opened the batting, top scored with 63 runs off 61 balls, while Nandey mustered 51 runs off 55 balls. On the other hand, for Teleperformance Global Services, Akhtar Shaikh and Shrihan Walawalkar wreaked havoc with the ball. The duo scalped three wickets apiece.
In reply, Teleperformance Global Services cruised to the target in 56.4 overs, with five wickets in hand. Ramanpreet Singh led the run chase with an unbeaten 79 off 99 balls. The middle order batter smashed 10 boundaries and a six during his match winning innings. Singh batted well with Jaykishen Kolsawala, who scored 86 runs off 92 balls. On the other hand, for Mafatlal Cricket Club, Puneet Tripathi and Rohit Singh claimed two wickets each.
Teleperformance Global Services outclassed Mafatlal Cricket Club by five wickets in the ‘B’ Division Times Shield match.
