Rakesh Naik’s 72 & 4 wkts & Golatkar’s fifer puts Borivali CC on top in the G Div Kanga League’19

Borivali CC batting first at Azad Maidan registered a total of 168/4 dec in 31 overs. Sushant Kadam at no.3 scored a quickfire 57 off 51 balls while in form all rounder Rakesh Naik scored an unbeaten 72* off 83 balls (8 fours) coming at no.5.

Defending 169, Kerala Windsor CC were all out for 91 runs in 31 overs thanks to the deadly combination of Rakesh Naik and Prathamesh Golatkar. Rakesh Naik and Prathamesh Golatkar since many seasons have been a great spin combination at the local level just reminding you the days when Kumble and Harbhajan used to bowl together at International level.  Prathamesh took 5/27 in 12 overs while Rakesh took 4/36 to help Borivali CC win the match on 1^st innings lead. Prathamesh is also bowling well in Times Shield where he had recently taken a fifer.
